Roman is a Dynamo ultras fan who joined the ranks of the Azov Kyiv Special Operations Forces from the very first days of the full-scale invasion. The unit later became part of the Third Separate Assault Brigade.

In May 2022, during an assault on enemy positions, Roman came under tank fire and lost his leg. But his story is not about loss. It is about strength, endurance, and new heights.
After the amputation, Roman underwent prosthetics at U+ System. He quickly adapted to an active life and sports on a prosthesis, and as he himself says, now the possibilities are almost limitless. And that’s no exaggeration.
In the summer of 2024, Roman made a solo hike through the Carpathians, raising 1 million hryvnia for charity. And in February 2025, together with the Second Breath project, he climbed to the top of Africa — Kilimanjaro.

But the mountains were just the beginning. Upon his return, “Dobryak” entered the ring and took part in a professional boxing tournament. Today, he proves that strength of spirit, high-quality prosthetics, and team support make even the seemingly impossible possible.
